How it works

Four steps, start to finish.

In person at our Greenwood office, or entirely by phone, email and video call from anywhere in the U.S.

  1. 01

    Book a call

Tell us what the power of attorney is for and where it will be used.

  2. 02

    Notarize

Sign it in front of our notary in Greenwood.

  3. 03

    Attestation

Indian citizens and OCI holders go straight to consulate attestation through VFS. Other foreign nationals get an Indiana apostille first.

  4. 04

    Send it home

The attested document is ready to send to your agent.

What is an apostille?

It's a certificate from the state's Secretary of State confirming the notary's signature. The Indian consulate asks for one only from foreign nationals without an OCI card.

Is attestation always needed?

It depends on the office in India that will receive it, such as a sub-registrar or bank. Ask them whether they want consulate attestation or accept an apostille.

Can I sign in your office?

Yes. As a notary we can notarize your signature by appointment.
