U.S. immigration
Bring the people you love closer.
We prepare your I-130 petition, organize proof of your relationship and keep you informed as the case moves from USCIS to the visa stage.
Who it's for
- U.S. citizens petitioning for a spouse or children or, if you are 21 or older, for parents or brothers and sisters
- Green card holders petitioning for a spouse or unmarried children
If a relative has past visa refusals, overstays or removals, speak with an immigration attorney before filing.

- Organize proof of your relationship and your status
- Prepare the affidavit of support (I-864) when the case moves forward
- Help with National Visa Center steps for relatives abroad, such as the DS-260 and civil documents
- Track receipts and case updates

Questions
Family Petitions FAQ.
General information only, not legal advice. Ask us about your situation.
Call 463-301-9000How long does a family petition take?
Spouses, parents and unmarried children under 21 of U.S. citizens don't wait for a visa number. Other categories wait according to the Visa Bulletin, which can take years. Brothers and sisters usually wait the longest.
Can a green card holder sponsor parents or brothers and sisters?
No. Only U.S. citizens who are 21 or older can petition for parents or brothers and sisters.
What happens after approval?
If your relative lives abroad, the case moves to the National Visa Center and then a consulate interview. If they're in the U.S., an immigration attorney can confirm whether they can apply for a green card here.
